She did marry Kronprinz Rupprecht von Bayern so, would have been the Queen had things not gone snafu in 1918. She was also, according to diehard Jacobites, "Queen of England, Scotland, Ireland and France" by that marriage.
Oddly enough, it was the House of Hanover (longtime enemies of the French) who dropped the nominal claim to France but the French-allied Jacobites (as far as I know) never did.
What a look! Is she the one who caused the fuss by marrying the Bavarian Crown Prince?
