MM i may i ask you, do you think that it is posible that the former czar and prime minister of bulgaria Simeon II in a future could be restored to in his rightfull throne? Hi from Argentina.
Anything is possible but I think his involvement in politics has made it more unlikely. He has also stated that he considers being elected PM a greater honor than being Tsar -and that does not sit well with most monarchists. By jumping into the political fray he has ensured that at least half the country will probably never support his restoration.
Well Napoleon I and III were presidents and consuls of republics and both became Emperors of the Frenchs and what about Gaius Julius that became the first Emperor of Rome. I think that the fact of he had an very good mandate like prime minister rise his popularity which make more republicans consider the idea of having him as Czar of Bulgaria in other words the monarchism grows i say that it was just an step (a big one) in the way of the restoration of the monarchy, i only hope that he want to restore the monarchy as ultimate goal of his political carrer.
