  1. I've always wondered why the 4th quarter is occupied by a second English emblem, instead of being reserved for the Welsh dragon. Is Wales not considered equal to England, Scotland, and Ireland?

    1. In short, no. Wales was a principality and part of England, today -I'm not sure what it is but it's certainly trying to be something different than that. However, for most of British history it was considered just another part of England and not on the same level as the Three Kingdoms.

    2. In my opinion the fleur de lis should be in the fourth section. It was a mistake getting rid of the title of King oF France (mainly for sentimental reasons). Not to mention that the emblem looks better and much more balanced without England taking up half the spaces.

  2. Bro could you do one of Singapore? It'd be nice even though outside of the Sultans and the British we have no royal tradition to speak of.

I would make the case that the current case of republican despotism that seems to be occurring (Lee Kuan Yew and his son Lee Hsien Loong, with Goh Chok Tong as the regent) should just come out of the monarchy closet though.

    1. Hi Ian,

Your statement about Sultans as a foreign monarchial system is far inaccurate. While the British recognition of the elder prince instead of younger, by mere deduction from British royal custom per Malay royal custom, is illegal, coupled with installing (recognising) him as the "Sultan" of Singapore in near history, Singapore has been the seat of Malay royals based on archaeological finds at Fort Canning. I agree that no Sultan of Singapore has existed I counter that Singapore as a separate territory was only realised after declaration of Crown Colony, prior to that under company rule, Singaporean territory was part of the Johore Sultanate after the split of the Johore-Riau Sultanate but this doesn't mean the current Sultan of Johor is the "Singapore Royal family" as he descended from the Temenggong and not the real Sultan.

      Colonialism is such a pain.

    2. Yes awaiting MM's take on Singapore, given that we are a republic, with elections and whatnot, we also carry whiffs of hereditary monarchy. Very minimally though, I must add.
Still, question to MM, what is your take on Singapore and her success? Considering that we are staunchly not monarchic. How would you compare Singapore to colonial Hong Kong?

  3. Hello sir how are you.... I'm Anand from India.. Although I'm not born in noble family. I like British empire very much, their culture, etiquette, dressing, valiant etc etc unlike Muslim invasion British empire treat subjects of colonies in very humanity manner. Thanks for your information and collection about royal families...

  4. You're missing the flag of one of the greatest empires of all time:
The Kingdom of Portugal and the Algarves. Once it was called The United Kingdom of Portugal, Brasil and the Algarves.
