Where the word of a king is there is power: and who may say unto him, what doest thou?
-Ecclesiastes 8:4
(Today, it seems, everyone. A great many monarchists included.)

  1. Thank you for these Scripture Quotes M.M.

As we can see, the Bible is definitely not a republican book and clearly endorse the best for of Government.

    Monarchy.

  2. I often hear from fellow Christians that the Lord our God endorses all forms of government, not only monarchy. Really?! I ask them to show me this endorsement from God. They always point to the famous Romans 13, "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God" (Romans 13:1 ESV). They say God instituted the authorities (which is broad thus it includes all forms of government and authorities) in the USA, thus God favors republican government too. I say, "Hogwash!" The USA was instituted by rebels, who technically VIOLATED Romans 13. So you (fellow Christians) mean to tell me that God endorsed the Bolsheviks too? So, God used the Bolsheviks to institute a democratic form of government in Russia?! There is only one form of government endorsed by God, which is well evident in the Old and New covenants, and that is monarchy. Here is the ultimate proof--Kingdom of God--if that is not pro-monarchy, then what is? The People's Democratic Republic of God sounds neither enticing nor wanting. I highly doubt God would allow voting in His kingdom, just ask Lucifer who was banished for rebelling against Him. God is on a throne and He deserves all the glory from His creation, period.

    1. While it is true that nothing exists unless God allows it, and he raises up the good and the evil alike, those people who quote Romans 13 fail to remember that God was rather cross when people began to, as he puts it, "set up kings but not by me, they have *made themselves princes* and I knew it not". And as for democracy and voting, well, you can look all throughout the Old and New Testaments and see that the majority tend to do what is wrong and only a few (indeed often only one individual) does what is right.
