Apparently, there's a German expression "Kaiserwetter," meaning a bright sunny day. Have you ever heard of this?
No, I never knew that. That's interesting. The closest I can come is "donnerwetter" (and that may not be spelled right, mein deutsch ist nicht sehr gut!) which is what my grandmother would snap whenever we ran through the house making noise.
