Some might have forgotten them, since they were not exactly 'monarchs' in the usual sense.

Interest does not necessarily translate into comments. What is it that they estimate, 1% of readers might leave a comment? I think it is probably more like 0.1%!Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18230268418171628594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8783969302315257415.post-75073353408567920772010-08-15T14:57:14.189-05:002010-08-15T14:57:14.189-05:00I appreciate that. It was not my intention to write only about the most controversial (otherwise Caligula, Elagabalus etc would have been included and Caesar, Augustus and Trajan would not have been) just those whose busts I happen to have and I only have those because those are the ones I have found. Sometimes such random choices can be a learning experience for myself as well.MadMonarchisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08083008336883267870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8783969302315257415.post-19129241491725903342010-08-15T08:12:48.410-05:002010-08-15T08:12:48.410-05:00Sigh of relief?? I've enjoyed these individual glimpses into the Emperors, who for the most part have been tossed collectively into the "Bad-Worse-Baddest" bin.

Thank you. I hope you will continue with them sometime in the future.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15054021958694262996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8783969302315257415.post-85615727920455112502010-08-15T01:52:53.889-05:002010-08-15T01:52:53.889-05:00And thus ends the "Emperor's Library"...And thus ends the "Emperor's Library" series (I can hear the collective sigh of relief). If anyone wonders why certain caesars made the list and others did not, there is no real rhyme or reason to it at all. The choices stem entirely from my shelf with one bio on each emperor of whose bust I have displayed there. Were they simply my favorites I would have made other choices and may well do more in the future. But, before you roll your eyes, this series is now done I assure you.MadMonarchisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08083008336883267870noreply@blogger.com
